Good value with sliding scale

I was really looking for an affordable option for anxiety treatment, and Mind And Body came up. I appreciated that they offered a free initial consultation; it helped me decide if it was a good fit. I also qualified for their sliding scale fees, which made the sessions much more manageable for my budget. It felt like a worthwhile investment for the quality of care I received. Definitely worth checking out if you're concerned about costs.

Helpful and easy to book

I decided to try some stress management sessions, just needed a little guidance. Booking an appointment was straightforward on their site. My therapist was pretty good, gave me some practical tips I could actually use. The online therapy option was really convenient since my schedule is a bit hectic. Overall, it was a positive experience and I'd probably go back if things get overwhelming again. No major complaints, it just worked out.

Excellent support, great service

I had my first individual psychotherapy session last week and it was absolutely wonderful! My therapist was incredibly understanding and made me feel so comfortable right away. The telehealth setup was super easy to use, too, which was a big relief. I've been looking for good mental health support for a while, and I finally found it here. I'm already looking forward to my next appointment. I will definitely be continuing my journey with them and recommending Mind And Body to all my friends who need someone to talk to!

I'm a student and money's tight. Do they have any kind of special rate for students or is it all full price?

D Daniel Taylor 4 weeks ago
They do offer student rates! I mentioned it when I first called and they applied a discount based on my student status. Definitely ask about it.

I think I saw something about student rates and also sliding scale options depending on income. Worth checking their site or just asking when you inquire.

i need some trauma therapy but im a bit nervous about finding someone good. are the therapists there actually licensed and experienced in stuff like EMDR?

N Nathan Wright 1 month ago
Yep, they're all licensed. I checked before I started. They have EMDR listed as one of their specialties, so you should be able to find someone experienced in that.

My therapist there is fantastic and specializes in trauma. I'm pretty sure all their staff are legit licensed pros. They seem to cover a lot of different therapy types like EMDR, so you're probably good.

Hey, thinking about trying out Mind and Body. Do they actually do that free intro call thing, or is it just for show?

S Sam Hall 3 weeks ago
Yeah, they totally do! I did it last month, really helped me figure out if they were a good fit without any pressure.

Can confirm, had a 15-minute chat with one of their therapists before booking. It was super helpful for asking a few questions and getting a feel for things.

How are these guys compared to something like BetterHelp? Is it pretty much the same deal?

Z Zach R. 1 month ago
From my experience, Mind and Body feels a lot more personalized than BetterHelp. I tried BetterHelp for a bit and it felt a bit like a revolving door of therapists. Here, I have a consistent person.

I've used both. Mind and Body is definitely more of a traditional therapy setup, even if it's online. BetterHelp is more subscription-based and you might get matched with someone you don't click with as easily.
